KEB Clearing Services(Inter-bank clearing business) |

Korea Exchange Bank is the only commercial bank in Korea operating the inter-bank clearing services since the year of its establishment(1967) before Kookmin bank joined the clearing market in 2002.
KEB is handling 21 different currencies and the member banks are comprised of all 22 Korean commercial banks, 37 branches of foreign banks in Seoul, 81 overseas correspondent banks with the total of 140 banks and 756 accounts, which, in effect, constitutes a clearing system encompassing both domestic and overseas banks. Based on the expertise in clearing services,now we are preparing for launching CLS upcoming September 2004. |

CLS(Continuous Linked Settlement) |

CLS stands for Continuous Linked Settlement and is the first global banking settlement system that extends finality of domestic RTGS( Real Time Gross Settlement) globally. There are currently 55 Member banks settling live transaction in 11 currencies across 16 time zones.
Korea Exchange Bank is a shareholder of CLS groups, and will go live settlement and third party services between Foreign Currencies and Foreign Currency/KRW respectively. |
