Overseas Remittance (Non Resident)
An application of remittance in foreign currency
Any non-resident may pay some money for less than the equivalent of USD 20,000 for each person at the same branch and on the same day.

If you want to send overseas the amount exceeding USD 20,000 for each person at the same branch and on the same day, you can transfer only within the amount of "Declaration of Foreign Exchange".

An application for remittance in Korean won
If you have converted foreign currency into Korean won during your stay in Korea, you can send the corresponding amount of money overseas.

If you have used cash service in Korean won through credit or debit cards issued overseas or withdrawn Korean won in Korea, you can send the corresponding amount overseas.

Even though you have not converted foreign currency into Korean won or used cash service in Korean won you can send money for USD10,000 or equivalent overseas only with your passport.
(In this case, you can exchange Korean Won into foreign currency instead of remitting overseas. Therefore, if you send USD 10,000 overseas, you cannot convert Korean won into foreign currency any more)
Remittance of fund deposited in external account
There shall be no restriction to remit fund in external account.
