Open a remittance special account by filling out an application at the bank counter
Register the remittance information in English: the beneficiary bank information (name of bank, branch name, bank code), beneficiary account number, beneficiary name, address, contact details etc.
When you make a deposit to the remittance special account through our bank or another bank counter, internet, tele-banking, ATM etc, the remittance is made to the overseas beneficiary account as per the registered remittance information.(When the transaction is done after bank business hours, it may be effected the following day.)
Important Point
The remittance special account cannot be used for purposes other than foreign remittance and remittance cannot be made for KRW 100,000 or less. Also once money is deposited into this account, please note that remittance is made immediately.
